trimmed to natural angles.

His stud fee is $500 with a multiple mare discount and we offer both live cover and artificial insemination.
Shipped cooled or frozen semen is provided using the services of Equine Reproductive Concepts in Amissville, VA.
Because we offer AI, mares in for live cover are required to have a current vaccinations/worming and a negative serum exposure test for Contagious Equine Metritis (CEM), Equine Viral Arteritis (EVA);
and negative Coggins prior to breeding.
Hondo is so intelligent, patient, kind and gentle that when challenged by being entered in a judged pleasure ride his first time off the farm, he placed 2nd out of 16 entries!
He is definitely producing that laid back, intelligent temperament in his foals. His small band of breeding mares is comprised strong gaited, friendly cream and silver carrying mares who are also our riding companions.
Hondo is coat color tested as EeAaCrcr no silver. Black based, single
bay, single cream. Click here http://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/service/horse/coatcolor.html
to see the explanations of coat color testing results.
We keep him social (and happy) by
riding him frequently with horses of both genders. He is pastured with mares during breeding season and with stud colts and/or geldings during non breeding season.
The picture to the left is with Troubadour,
our Silver-Champagne stud colt. We enjoy him for what he is, our trusted family companion.
